So this is a story about some guy from San Francisco who gave it all up to live in the middle of the Nevada desert. Pretty interesting motivations behind why he did it. Kind of think doing something similar could be a good move for me.
Trip Cost Estimator using Google Maps
City Data has done a nice little mash-up which estimates fuel costs of road trips. What surprised me was how little driving cross country costs, despite rising fuel costs. To drive from here to my parent’s house, just shy of 1900 miles, would only cost approximately $210 dollars. Then again, I don’t drive a gas guzzling SUV, either.
Sarah Palin, the first Republican Stepford VP. The question recognition algorithm does a good job of responding to questions with semi-related answers. But it seems to fold under the pressure of repeat questions. Please send unit 043 to the lab for modifications.

How much does a presidential candidate get to lie before we tell him to pack his stuff and go home? This guy McCain doesn’t even try to hide the fact that he’s lying or feel the least bit hesitant in doing so.

I hate politics, and I do not think government is the answer. But considering that’s the choice we’re left with, Obama is clearly the better choice over McCain. How dare McCain shit on the importance of this Presidential Election by filling air time with such tripe. We need to be talking about important issues. Not feigning offense at a pretend slight, “How dare you talk about our female VP like that” crap.
Grow up, McCain, you pompous ass.

Register here to vote in Arizona!
Everyone needs to register to vote if they are not already. Ask your friends and family if they have registered. The deadline to register is October 06, 2008. No matter who you’re going to vote for, just make sure you actually register and get down there to vote on election day.
No matter who wins the election, the most important thing the United States needs is greater participation from its citizens. Stand up, America.
