A thought provoking reminder of how far off course the United States of America has really gone. Quote from the article:

People are really being over reactionary toward the CERN project. Even if something did go wrong, it’s not like we’d notice.

The police in New York have highly sophisticated technology. Just on hand they have pistols, mace, and tazers. In the squad cars that are all nearby they have sophisticated anti-riot gear including rubber bullets, shot guns, shields, teargas, and helmets. In the various police vans that were no doubt nearby, they have sonic crowd-disperal systems. These are systems that literally cause extreme pain from a distance and the design of the tech is classified, but the EFFECTS of the technology have been widely showcased on shows like Modern Weapons on Discovery Channel. These non-lethal mass-scale torture devices can and will handle 60 people from a single van. The police spend the majority of their resource budget on riot control and riot control training. Riot control is basically their primary focus in cities like New York, and they are well-prepared. A riot would honestly make the day of many of those cops, because they’ve been dying to try out their fancy gadgets on real people. Remember who designed these weapons for them - redditors and the professors of redditors. The entire science & technology community is highly complicit in these actions. The #1 employer of physicists is the Dept. of Defense that designs the gear these cops use to oppress masses of people. A hundred years of a complicit public has dug a pretty deep hole. We will need more than bikers with fists. We would need a fully armed and organized militia at the very least - and we don’t have that thanks to redditors and the parents of redditors who have worked to erode the 2nd amendment.

Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourselves.
