This presentation does a great job of explaining what the credit crisis everyone is talking about is about. Pretty much centers around greed and an almost obsessive compulsion to take short cuts to get what one wants. Too bad everyone that participated was so short sighted they didn’t work in sustainable, long-lasting ways with an eye toward the future. Now all the credit junkies are jonesing for a fix, and the supply has run dry.

I’m quite happy to let those who dig their own grave lay in it. What makes me unhappy about the whole situation is that those who created this mess now expect those of us who acted responsibly and within our means to step up and haul their ass out of the fire.
