Ze Frank on ideas.

I like what he says about how someone who does something badly three times still has three times the experience of someone who hasn’t acted on an idea.

Race car drivers get all the glamor. You don’t see people lining up down the block, waiting to ask a veteran 18-wheel driver for his autograph because he’s gone 30 years without an accident. You’ll see people line up to get a rookie race car driver’s autograph if he walks away from a bad pileup.

Owners of capital will stimulate working class to buy more and more of expensive goods, houses and technology, pushing them to take more and more expensive credits, until their debt becomes unbearable.
The unpaid debt will lead to bankruptcy of banks, which will have to be nationalized, and State will have to take the road which will eventually lead to communism.

EDIT: Shoot, it’s a fake quote. Karl Marx fake quote

Uncultured Project.

This guy wants to go to the World Economic Forum. He’s been doing a hell of a job participating in the fight against poverty. Help him get to Davos by showing this video to as many people as you can.

I am disappointed at people who hesitate to start something important because they’re just waiting to learn enough or know enough or to figure out the answer.

Seth Godin

He’s right. It’s seldom an issue of knowing enough. More likely, though, is that people are afraid. I know that’s how it is for me a lot of the time. I hesitate to start new things because I’m afraid someone will point out my inexperience, or find a hole in my knowledge.

I guess starting a new venture is easier for people who are building off previous experience. But what bedrock of confidence to people pull from when they’re in uncharted territory?
