The design challenge for this project was to design a brand identity for a new company that produces whole food nutrition bars. Exceed sets itself apart from the competition by producing a product that will help keep you healthy for the future by using high quality superfood ingredients.
For my design solution I wanted the brand language to reflect a retro take on futuristic and cutting edge aesthetic. The rich colors paired with the bitmap images make for a clean design that would stand out on the shelves against the competition. The Futura typeface has a timeless aesthetic that won’t fade as we go into the future. The logo itself even reflects futuristic qualities, taking the Bauhaus typeface and making some slight modifications creating a nice consistency through the flows of the c and the e’s, with some implied lines inspired by the Art Deco era.
