This was some cover art that I created for a friend who produces music out in LA. I came to this design solution after giving the song a few listens and really taking it in. The beat has this psychedelic vibe to it so I tried to represent this with my use of the imagery. The song also makes a lot of basketball references, hence the song’s title “Pick n’ Roll”. So I saw it fitting to use a typeface that had a sporty vibe to it.

I also created a small promotional video that was used on instagram to promote the upcoming track release. I just kept it simple and in a format that they requested, with the bars on top and bottom promoting the artist’s social media and also where you could download the song once it was released.
